Installation is simple: once plugged in, the system is ready for viewing. The included 80" diagonal screen easily extends to the correct 16 x 9 display ratio for viewing widescreen movies. The colorful AccuCinemaTM image can be displayed on other surfaces from up to 25' away (with a picture size up to 25' diag). Four user-selected projection modes are available to suit any lighting environment. The projector includes two high-quality built-in JVC speakers which produce 10 watts per channel of clear, powerful sound, and an external 40-watt subwoofer (not shown) for clean, booming bass. The integrated DVD player uses progessive-scan technology for a sharp and clear picture, and includes Dolby Digital and DTS sound decoding for the best sound possible from DVD soundtracks.
